How To Remove Stains From A Fleece Jacket

  • Mix 2-3 drops of your regular detergent with 10 ml of lukewarm water (30° C).

  • Lay a clean white towel or microfiber cloth on a flat and clean surface.

  • Place the stained area of jacket on this cloth/towel. Keep the stained area facing towards the cloth/towel.

  • Dip an old toothbrush in the mixture.

  • Rub this mixture on the inner side of the stained area in circular motion for 2-3 minutes.

  • Keep dipping the toothbrush in the detergent every 5-10 seconds.

  • Step 1: Fill a bucket with cold water

    Fill your bucket about two thirds with clean and cold water. The key is to soak your jacket completely.

  • Step 2: Mix detergent in water properly

    Put approximately 50 grams of your regular laundry detergent or 50 ml of liquid detergent to wash one fleece jacket. You can also read and follow the usage instructions on your detergent packaging.

    Stir the water with your hands 5-6 times to dissolve the detergent.

  • Step 3: Soak your jacket in the bucket

    Place your fleece jacket into the bucket and submerge it entirely in the water with your hands. You can swish your hands through the water.

  • Step 4: Scrub lightly with a brush

    Brush off dirt and debris from the fleece jacket

    Move a soft-bristled clothes brush in small, circular motions all over your jacket to lift up dirt and debris. Don’t assert pressure on fleece. You can work on 5-10 cm area for convenience.

  • Step 1: Put the jacket in washer drum

    Turn the jacket inside out before you wash it. Flip the neck of your jacket inside, pull the sleeves into the main body, and turn it inside out. This way, the outer fleece stays protected as you wash it.

    Make there is nothing in the pockets of your jacket before you wash it. If you leave paper in the pockets, your jacket will get covered in lint, which is almost impossible to remove.

  • Step 2: Put detergent in the dispenser
